Our Preschool

Preschool for 3 year olds is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 during the traditional school year. 

Preschool for 4 year olds is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30-11:30.

Tuition for preschool students includes all materials, field trip expenses and snacks.

The 3 year old class participates in two field trips including the zoo and the pumpkin patch.  Each month guest speakers come to visit the 3 year old class, including firefighters, musicians, professionals and more.

Field trips are held once a month for the 4 year old class and include the zoo, pumpkin patch, MK Nature Center, fire department and others. 
Monthly guest speakers are also brought in to teach about different themes.

Active Minds Child Care and Preschool uses Zoo-phonics to teach the alphabet and incorporates science, math and music into the curriculum.  Each week there is a focus on a letter and a shape, color or number, as well as a fun theme. Children also get to participate in a daily craft and outdoor play on our park-quality play ground.
